At JP Consulting we offer investment advisory services primarily for portfolios. Our services include Investment Policy and Strategy review, Market Assessment, Training etinstitutional non-discretionary investmentc. As we have the ability to "slice and dice" a complex insurer or bank commercial loan portfolio(s) to isolate sector concentrations and "soft spots". We isolate concentrations by sector such as CMBS, RMBS, Real Estate, High Yield etc. What sector do you think has the highest weighting?

Herb Jacobs

Recently I taught a course at NYU Continuing Education in Money and Banking. I started a new module, which is also in my "Handbook of Corporate Lending - A Guide for Bankers and Financial Managers", which began with a Ralph Waldo Emerson remark that an institution is the lengthened shadow of one man. It stirred quite a spirited discussion. What do you think?
